It seems like it just has sticky stuff holding it on
You could use a paper clip and bend it in a circle to just fit onto the shaft, or a rubber washer that can be stretched to fit the shaft..

Just make sure the circular disk is in the correct position on the shaft..

Ok, so I don't think those clear disc's have anything to do with my issue. I lined them up, and they are remaining in the same orientation, but end up at different positions each startup. They do both still point the same way. The print head still isn't advancing beyond 1/4 of the way across the bar. I can push it fine by hand with no resistance at that point. Italmost feels like I need to move it down the pulley somehow. Does anyone know if that is possible? Here is an updated video.

The light still flashes through 16 cycles of white/orange. What would keep the thing from sliding all the way down the bar?

Actually, the orange light blinks 17 times in total and I think the white light starts and ends it with intermittent flashes.

The round EJ slit disk film area is your problem, (Paper eject encoder error) LED flashing 17 times, it could be dirt on it or the timing sensor is not reading it properly or is damaged.. Out of alignment !

That’s the area you should concentrate your problem search..

Thanks Hat! I think you are right. The little board that has the slit that read the disk appears to be broken. I need to get that out of the and try and solder it back together I think. Those screws are beneath the bottom case though so I don't know how to access them other than drilling little holes in the side. Here is a picture, but I'm not sure if you can tell what I'm talking about in this picture. Let me know your thoughts. Thanks
