I purchased an Epson WF 7840. I would like to use it with refillable ink cartridges. I need to print Cad drawings. I am unsure whether to use pigmented and non-dye ink from Inktec like E0013 or Octopus or fill the cartridges by purchasing bottles Epson 113 Ecotank ink? Thank you

I would expect that all inks which you mention will print, differences may exist in the the achievable black level but I'm not aware of any test to compare the black level of these inks so you may test some of these in this respect which ink would deliver you the best contrast and sharpness of your prints.

I have the same printer: use pigment ink. The original cartridge are pigment ink too. I am using Inktec pigment ink these printers, but you can certainly use Epson ecotank 113 bottled pigment ink of your choice. Be sure all colours are pigment.

I would use only Epson 113 ink. I only refill original catridges

Recently I have bought an Epson WorkForce 7840 DTWF printer. I have successfully installed a CISS on it and works fine so far. The inks I am using are original Epson 113 bottled inks. They are a bit hard to find here and waiting/delivery times are like 7-10 days. My question is can I safely use original epson 112 inks with this printer? The original cartriges of the printer are epson 405 which are all pigment based (DuraBrite Ultra, I believe). Both of the inks I have mentioned are DuraBrite series too and also CMYK pigment based.

I do have the printer and use 113 bottled inks with original cartridges and a settler. Had no problems with them, even when mixed with ReadyPrint cartridges .
