I don’t know why you guys have so much trouble profiling and printing your photos out of Photoshop..

I have used Photoshop for more years than I care to remember and can say I’ve never had an issue that I couldn’t resolve..
I currency use Version CS5 and I can turn off/on colour management with ease, it’s my go too application for all my printing projects..

My 5 cent worth..:)
I for one have zero problem profiling and printing out of Photoshop - any version. I have been using the application professionally since the first version for Windows appeared which I believe was v2.5 in 1992, the first v1.0 was released Mac only. Now using CC

CS5 was the last version that included the option to enable/disable colour management. So it can be confusing for some user to be told to turn colour management off in PS when printing profiling targets.

Ohh, and they also introduced CDS (Counterfit Deterence System) about 20 years ago with the introduction of Photoshop CS, so I was forced to change career
So I raise you €5 :D

I just noticed that in your instructions you indicated having BPC ON while in all other workflows for Color Target creation it calls for BPC turned off. Just double checking those instructions since it is different (I no longer have the older version of Photoshop yet thought having the clarity for those that do would be helpful).

indeed, my fault: Black Point Compensation should OFF

This is the correct setting (I will correct my original post)
