Hi all. Once again trying to do a little printing. After refilling a few empthy tanks I'm surprisingly greeted by 15 flashing lights. So clearly one of the tanks isn't recongized (so I thought). Sure enough GY wasn't illumnated red. So I replaced it with a brand new, never used, GY and it lit right up. But I'm still getting 15 yellow flashes. All the red lights are absolutely on. I have tried turning the whole thing off and on again to see if clearing the memory, if that's a thing, would work. It does not. Any thoughts on how to clear this problem? It says it's offline and will not print. Thank you!

Thanks Jimbo. My resetter just flashes, never gives me a solid light but I'll redo all of that.

You should see more informative messages on your PC too (My printer app) I think.

The service manual for the Pro 9500ii shows the following for an operator call error of 15 flashes:

15 times: Ink tank not recognized.

[1682] U150 A hardware error occurred in an ink tank (the ink tank LED is turned off).

Possible sources of problem:

- Ink tank
- Logic board

Let's hope it's a tank.

Don't panic.

Get the chips right as @The Hat suggested and reinsert all carts.
Clean the contacts (of the chips and where they connect in the printhead) with isopropanol.

Canon printers tend to become crazy after several errors, driving users who fiddle with them crazy.
Work step by step.
