Nice example of how mountains crumble away over millions of years.

If you look at Colorado landscapes, I always wonder where all the debris goes to leave the monuments standing in the clear. I suppose it's all a question of where the mean level is.

Glaciers carried a lot of the debris out of the drainages and into the distant plains.
