This arctic wolf looks rather fierce and aggressive. What you are really seeing is a yawn of boredom. An aggressive posture would have a more alert body position and tail more horizontal.
Always note to know he didn't view me as a delicate morsel.
TIP - When photographing predators always go with a companion who runs slower than you. In the event things turn nasty you do not have to outrun the predator, merely you companion.
Always good to know for those out west, and in the Rockies, where they have grizzlies and the like.
