Canon Pro-100 Took a tumble and now I cannot get it working properly

Do you guys just work on business days? Why would that bar spin quickly at the end of a cycle on? The pulleys seem a bit loose and that clear strip is even looser. Can I lubricate the bars with some silicone wd-40 or something similar?

Nobody gets paid to help you so don't take any 'work' for granted. We don't know why that bar spins quickly because we are not looking at the printer. WD-40 is a water displacement solution and not a lubricant, yet I doubt any lubricant would solve the issue. If your encoder strip and the printhead belt are too loose and as a result your printhead is not moving properly I would start looking there.

Some volunteer during the week, some volunteer during the weekend, and some volunteer all week.

Clearly, it's a frustrating situation.

I hope you don't take this the wrong way, yet there is a parallel between your printer taking a tumble and trying to fix it over a forum and a person getting in a car crash and trying to get healthcare over Telehealth. No tests, no diagnostics, no pictures, just info on where it hurts.

A couple of things to consider if you cannot determine what item broke got disconnected, or misaligned.

It might be time to have a local expert give it a look that can advise you on what is wrong and what it would take to fix it by you (may or may not be possible) or by some service technician.

That would give you good information for an informed move forward by acknowledging whatever the reality of what is. That could be a repair, buying a new or used Canon Pro-100 replacement, or considering alternatives and selling off your ink (you mentioned a lifetime supply).

I don't know where it will end up; it seems it is time to up the anti on the approach to solving your unfortunate situation.

These are some quick thoughts, and I hope things get resolved soon for you.
