Pretty interesting video / use of PLA!

I don't know how it holds up in the UV. Anything I print with PLA goes crazy brittle in the sun after a bit.

Hello friend, UV radiation can cause PLA chains to break, thereby reducing their mechanical properties. Compared to PLA, PETG has better resistance to heat, UV radiation, and different types of solvents. My printer at home is relatively small, and I have only printed the support rod of a balcony sunshade. I have been using it for nearly a month without any problems:caf

PLA is not the best in sunshine, but you can overcome that by using a clear coloured lacquer or the same colour spray paint as your print, this can make PLA impervious to UV rays for years.. For me so far so good..:)
