Hi, 3dogs, glad to see you have returned to the fold. Believe it or not I have not added a single lens since the 70-200.

You certainly have been busy. Incidentally my daughter lives in Switzerland with her family, been there about 30 years.

Its a really nice place.......Too tidy for me, and I carry a bit of a "thing" for the Swiss.
My Dad was on Crete when it fell during WW2. He and 6 other airmen escaped the invasion and made for Switzerland expecting them to assist.......nothing of the sort. They were immediately arrested and taken North and handed over to the Nazis.......
Upside is they managed, as a group, to escape, and with the assistance of the underground made it out via Norway. Spent the remainder of the war in South Africa as a flying instructor.
The experience shaped the rest of his life in that he was not able to settle in any one place for long.

Europe is a long way from here and getting further as I get older.

Watched jtoolmans' video on cleaning the purge pads.
Just installed a new maint. tank. My question is this please :
Can I reinstall the old one, or a refurbished spare so that all the 'gunk' goes to waste rather than contaminating a brand new tank?

Thanks

Oh! So I was supposed to leave the print head sitting on a nappy..........silly me, mistead that one:th:weee

Just a brief comment for those more familiar with North American English - The UK term "nappy" translates as diaper in our neck of the woods.
