Inktec vs OCP vs Epson vs NanoDigital pigment inks

Hi all, does anybody know where I can get the Inktec Powerchrome (The magentas) in the US. I've tried their website but they only have the magenta listed and contacting them is like pulling out teeth.

There is bronzing, but do notice how much glossier the Inktec is.
Especially on the paper you are using, Image Specialists pretty much turns it to matte.
And Ilford pearl is known for not behaving really well in terms of bronzing with most inks. Try something with a deeper luster finish, like Epson premium luster and the bronzing will be (almost) totally gone with the Inktec...

You printed on the same paper using the same image but these 2 different inks and got such differing results? Very interesting.

I think the test of Hainz doesn't take into account the glossiness of and gloss differential compared to the Image Specialists inks: I have used Image Specialists inks a few years ago and despite the fantastic color rendition the problem was the lack of gloss (especially the magenta and the corresponding composite colors) and gloss differential. It is true bronzing is less compared to Inktec, but overall printing results with Inktec Powerchrome has been much more better compared to Image Specialists. What I also have discovered is the fast fading of the yellow of Image Specialists, despite being a pigment ink after one year exposing to sun light (other colors are very stable).

yes it is true that I print exclusively on SATIN photo paper (Ilford and Sihl). Gloss is definitely better with InkTec. Bronzing was bad but even on glossy photo paper. Worse than the Image Specialists.

prints are anyone with these inks R3000 printer? Has anyone created ICC profiles for this printer?

I recently switched to IS pigment ink on Canon Pro9500 and MX7600 and found the gloss differential on glossy paper unacceptable (the black of the eyes looks really weird).
Among the papers I had in stock the most acceptable was Ilford Galerie Smooth Pearl, but this isn't produced anymore, a pity.
On Olmec Satin (OLM61) the differential is a bit more visible since the surface is smoother, but it is not a disaster.
I now learn to live with Archival Photo Matt (OLM67).

Any suggestions ?
