Win 7(64) + AMD 64 Dual Processor + i9900xp175ausZ driver = Will not install correctly, even with additional prodding.
I guess that I wasn't clear in my post that I installed the i9900xp175ausZ driver on my XP server (to which the printer is physically connected), using the XP server to share the printer on the network. I did not install any driver on my Win7(64) machine, as this is done automatically when the printer in added to a remote machine. The aomwin110ea23us driver mentioned in your original post is the correct driver for a Win7(64) machine, regardless of the processor, according to this link.

The important thing is that you found a work-around for the problem (apparently the same one as I used). I suspect that the i9900 will also work with a Vista(32) machine, since it has been working properly for about 2 years on my remote Vista(32) laptop over the same network. I agree that there seems to be a problem with the Win7(64) driver for the i9900, and I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only one who has seen this problem. It is easy to imagine that the person who wrote the driver didn't bother to test it on an A3 print, assuming that if it printed an A4 print properly that the driver was good to go.

Ah, that makes sense.

Probably true. Most of the drivers I've had for Vista(32) work just fine in Win7(64). Not so with XP. So far, I've only had about 6 pieces of equipment that didn't work correctly, and I needed to figure out a work around.

If I hear Canon updates the driver - I'll post a link here to let you (and others) know.

Just so people can see, this is what is happening...

And no, I made absolutely sure the paper selection was 13x19" size and image was "fit" on the page. Worked fine in WinXP Pro installed on a AMD Laptop I had. Been exchanging emails with Canon for a week now, and got the following from one of their techs:

"I personally have never seen this occur."

You can tell them that you aren't the only one who has seen this.

That's exactly what happened to me when printing full size prints from my Win7(x64) machine to my i9900 connected to a networked XP(x32) machine, even though it printed properly using the same program running on the XP server. After removing and reinstalling the (same) driver on the XP server, it now prints properly from Win7 (at least the last time that I checked).

"End Game"

So what I finally did was install VMWare and a image of WinXPPro 32 bit, and ran the drivers that Granddad35 recommended from that virtual image, inside a win 7 window. Worked fine, printed a full 13x19, and I can live with the overall performance like this. Canon realized they had a problem, but wanted me to call their tech service for support on it. Not really sure why I can't get an answer via email... but maybe I'll call them once I get back from business travel.
