I guess that I wasn't clear in my post that I installed the i9900xp175ausZ driver on my XP server (to which the printer is physically connected), using the XP server to share the printer on the network. I did not install any driver on my Win7(64) machine, as this is done automatically when the printer in added to a remote machine. The aomwin110ea23us driver mentioned in your original post is the correct driver for a Win7(64) machine, regardless of the processor, according to this link.camstone said:Win 7(64) + AMD 64 Dual Processor + i9900xp175ausZ driver = Will not install correctly, even with additional prodding.
The important thing is that you found a work-around for the problem (apparently the same one as I used). I suspect that the i9900 will also work with a Vista(32) machine, since it has been working properly for about 2 years on my remote Vista(32) laptop over the same network. I agree that there seems to be a problem with the Win7(64) driver for the i9900, and I'm glad to find out that I'm not the only one who has seen this problem. It is easy to imagine that the person who wrote the driver didn't bother to test it on an A3 print, assuming that if it printed an A4 print properly that the driver was good to go.
