Origional problem was blue did not print, carried out several printhead cleans, still did not print, soaked print heads in hot water appeared to clear but still would not print, swaped blue cartridge put in a red carridge in its place and it red showed on bottom of printhead, seemed to be coming through.
Appeared to have cleared, inserted blue but would not print. Changed cartridge for new blue but still would not print.
After reading posts on this forum suggesting print head alignment i tried this but printer would not carry out auto printhead alignment and suggested manual alignment which i did but now all colours were even worse tried soaking over 2 days which apeared to clear all ink out of printheads, but now it will not print at all.
I also saw on this forum one expert who repaired printers who suggested that if the belts had slipped and the purge facility was misaligned it may be the reason for insufficient ink getting to the printheads (He also supplied instuction manuals for carrying out repairs but I now cannot find the post previously on the site).
Now I'm at a loss to know what to do? if I buy a new printhead which are expensive and it is the belt misalignment it would not cure the problem.
Can anyone help please? also dose anyone no who was the expert who repaired printers?
Thank you in anticipation.
