Can anyone identify this part on a Laserjet 3330?

I thought this (black plastic) part and the stuff attached to it was the scanner assembly. However, Googling shows a very different looking part for the scanner assembly for a LJ3330.

Yes that is the inner parts of a scanner. The scanner motor and CCFL shows it is a scanner.

When looking for printer parts it is important to use the exact same wording as the manufacturer. A service manual and parts catalog is a great help.

Here is a service manual and parts list. See pages 246 and 247. It looks like the parts number is C9124-60103 Scanner assembly.

Googling "hp lj3330 scanner assembly" finds many strange things, for instance this that looks like a HDD mounting bracket to me. I think they attached a wrong image. I have also seen laser scanner unit which is the component that writes the document to the drum,

Thanks. I already tried that part number. No one has it in stock in the west.

Already have the service manual, thanks. I really just need to replace the mirror. But maybe if the entire assembly holding the mirror was cheap, I would've tried to get it. Looks like this is going in the garbage. <sad>

I'm going to try very hard never to break a mirror again.

Maybe you could find another HP AIO of the same vintage or some old Scanjet model? I think these were all CCD scanners so maybe a mirror could be found in one of these?

Here is a good explanation of the working of CCD and CIS scanners. The CCD drawing made me think HP probably used the same mirror in all Letter/A4 CCD scanners.
