Canon MP780 printing incorrect colour.

Hello Tyamada,

Thank you for your post, the Print-Rite compatible cartridges have recently changed to Photo BC6 Photo Cyan (and Magenta) whilst the yellow is Photo BC6 Yellow (and Black). I think you are right I have been using the wrong inks which would account for the strong colour caste. I will try a new set of Canon cartridges to confirm.

Hello Grandad35 and tyamada,
Thank you both for your contribution to solving my problem with the Canon MP780, I have now managed to purchase Canon ink cartridges BCI-6C, BCI-6M and BCI-6Y together with PR-101 photo paper and the MP780 is just like new.
Your synopsis was obviously correct regarding the inks.
