Hi I am newbie and am looking for 3rd party option fo my printer but it seems that the information is fragmented at best.
The research so far is:

Efillink sells the refillable ink carts
with a full set of ink if needed.

Refilling OEM (by the hat no.24)
http://www.nifty-stuff.com/forum/viewtopic.php?id=4746&p=3

CISS: (Note due to pigment particle CISS might not be the best choice)
http://www.inksystem.com/printer-ciss/canon/Printer-Canon-PIXMA-Pro9500-with-CISSe.html
I have yet to contact merchant for just the CISS. Not listed on the website as stand alone.

Where to find the best Bulk ink?
Image specialist makes pigment for canon retailors:

http://store.inkjetcarts.us/pro-9500-c103.aspx

Scammer:
Ebay can-ink and can-ink 2
basically says he has Ciss for 9500 but pic shows 8 tanks and on different sites, different prices. In short I dont trust this guy.

Did you do any of your research on this forum? If you do a search on Pro9500 you will find lots of links where your questions will be answered by people who have traveled down this road before.

I asked this already time ago. The answers as they say more above they are there and are very interesting.

I yesterday came from chance to the same page that he mentions and asked for his systems of refilling (carts and CISS). I wait of receiving response, since I am interested in the possible solutions that could give to this respect.

The manufacture is South Korean and gives me certain safety.

Inkjetcarts.us and Efillink sell ink pigment, I suppose that it comes of Image Specialist.

PrecisionColors does sell ink pigment of Image Specialist for the Canon 9500 Mark II?

I expect to have prompt a printer of this type and it is interesting to observe the alternatives that exist really.

Hi Red John,

I contacted both inkjetcarts.us and efillink: both sell Image Specialists ink and for me this manufacturer produces outstanding quality ink. Unfortunately precisioncolors.com, from who I purchase my IM-K4 ink for my Epson Pro 3800, does not sell Pro 9500 ink.

bene123 Thats your answer for your ink problem sorted, but as far as replacement cartridges are concerned I would strongly recommend that you use only the OEM cartridges and please please stay away from the CISS systems on this printer and save yourself a lot of headaches.
Just get a chip resetter.. :)

Hi all, in inkjetcart costs 10 x Canon 9500 Mark II Bulk Pigment Refill Inks 120ml 135 USD, but the postage and handling to my country places in the 40 USD.

I have contacted with inksystem and really it sells Refillable PGI-9 cartridges for Canon 9500 at 99 USD, but the postage is 40 USD.

I do not know Efillink's prices but they seem to me to be nowadays the highest.

A shame is that PrecisionColors does not bandage pigment inks for Canon 9500, since hereabouts there are read good recommendations of this brand, beside having an unsurpassable price.

I have desire of observing the quality of this printer with Image Specialist's pigment inks.

There are lots of other distributors for Image Specialists inks.

Also, I find that it is perfectly feasible to have only one set of OEM cartridges that you refill one at a time as needed. Take it out of the printer, refill it, put it back in, all within a couple minutes.

Ehhhh, I do not have a Pro 9500 and sometimes it is impossible to refill original OEM cartridges like the Epson Pro 3800. Epson on the other hand do work very well with quality CISS-systems unlike Canon printers. No I do not have headaches now, after years of having experience in refilling.....
