I noticed in some recent postings people stating problems with the German method.
Since I am using this method for the last 3 years on the same set of 2x5 cartridges with 0 problems and 0 purges and a lot of printing, I've decided to offer a few points about what NOT to do.
1. Don't seal the...
My last batch of inks came from inkline.gr and I am very happy with them. I was attracted by the owners' very honest description of AEM vs OEM inks and when I tried his service he was polite, quick and the inks are very reliable.
I have also tried inks from Sudhaus and they are great.

gigigogu, do your refilled cartridges print correctly ?
I fear that your foaming ink prevents the sponge area from being refilled correctly. In my case the cartridges would often not work and this was the problem which made me reject my version of syringe vacuum refilling.
After watching the video again I am certain that foaming would only occur if the ink were low quality in that it didn't contain the correct amount of anti-foam additive. Ghwellsjr obviously doesn't have this issue.

I never posted the method because after the tests I did, I found it was too messy, time consuming and it could put a lot of strain particularly in non-OEM...
I always keep the resetter next to the printer. Whenever I remove a cartridge I immediately reset it so that when time comes for refilling I won't have to.
The purple color of some usernames (moderators?) is difficult to see with the dark colored theme I am using. I am not sure if my partial color blindness is to blame, but the usernames are almost part of the background.
