Hello guys and really congrats for your awesome forum!
I have a ip4600 which actually runs OEM inks but is a monster! Eats a lot of ink in autocleaning,so i decided that it doesn't worth the OEM ink and got to go with the 3rd partys.
I actually live in Greece and need to buy some ink for this beast of printer or else it goes in the Rbin. After a lot of research even in this forum i still can't peak the right bulk ink. These are the options i have here in Greece:

1. Missupply (i've already used this ink with a i965 but had magenta cast)
2. OCP ink from a local store
3. cityinkexpress

I would like your opinion about these 3 brands and of course any other source, ebay included is welcome!

Thank you in advance!!!!

My last batch of inks came from inkline.gr and I am very happy with them. I was attracted by the owners' very honest description of AEM vs OEM inks and when I tried his service he was polite, quick and the inks are very reliable.

I have also tried inks from Sudhaus and they are great.

Although I have bought inks from the US and China in the past, I would suggest against buying from non-EU countries now as the chances of having to pay a large customs fee for inks have increased. The customs people may even try to charge you for chemistry analysis tests which is ridiculous.

Of the three you listed, I have only used cityinkexpress and can only speak of their good quality and service.
However if youre going to start refilling you will need more than just good quality inks.

I would recommend you give a go to octoink.co.uk they have all the supplies
youll need to get started and I can guarantee you wont be disappointed with your choice.. :)

Thanks panos! I forgot to mention that i have already tried inkline's inks (john i think is his name) but i was very disapointed because of the very heavy magenta cast. I don't know if worth buying a CISS for this printer because i won't print a lot.
I'll pass one of these days from euro-jet.gr to see how is quality. They use OCP inks and am really curious. I must admit that inksupply.com has very cheap inks with good quality. I almost give them a fresh try

I'll check them too. I have all the necessary supplies/items to start, i need only ink :)
I just don't want to get a heavy, uncontrolled (via the color sliders) cast :(

I just saw the Octoink's review here but i don't know if there isn't a color cast. I definetly see cooler colors (bluish) with fotorite but i am not sure about octoink. I think i see some warm overall cast, maybe red/yellow which makes the image a bit warmer. We surely need to see some skin tones here. Can anyone confirm from proper experience the presence of any kind of color cast with Octoinks?

Hi geocha:

Octoinks sells Image Specialists ink, the same as sold by Precisioncolors.com in Canada. These ink produce very neutral prints similar to original Canon ink without the need of extra profiles. However you can download profiles from precisioncolors.com for several printer/paper combinations.

Excellent! I'll order from them a complete kit but there no ink in stock now. I'll wait and see how this topic goes :) ;)
