Ruined CLI-8’s. Some one had these CLI-8 carts refilled at a big box store called Costco. They drilled holes through the vent maze section and injected ink into the sponge. Stupid waste of good carts.

Wow just checked the iP4000 head temps on this 4000 and it read BK=28, TempC=27, Env Temp=22.5. I have never understood leaving a printer on constantly and drying out the power supply capacitors. The iP4000 power supply is sealed with no ventilation. If I want to print something I power up...

Why try and make one when the thrift stores are full of used Canon printers.

How many different grommets did Canon use? All I know is that the iP4000 grommets are different from the iP4200 grommets.
