Though not the first member of this fantastic member, but for many years I enjoyed this forum and tried to contribute to this forum as much as I can in my spare time. Most know me for introducing the German Durchstich method for refilling BCI-6/CLI-8 and similar Canon cartridges (though it was not my idea, but from Defcon2K, a german guy) on this forum. My search and tests of the many refill cartridges for the Epson Pro 38x0 printer and so on. I hope you all enjoyed this and I will try to contribute in the future as long as I can.

Exactly one week ago my dearest mother passed away after breaking one of her hips. Her health was already very fragile due to severe renal insufficiency and cardial problems and the operation caused a lot of problems like a pneumonia (probably by swallowing problems). Four days after her operation her fragile health condition was unfortunately too much for her heart to bear.

I am very thankful for her love and making me to study pharmaceutical sciences (hence my nick). She is now back to the Lord.

The coming Monday I will attend the funeral with my father and brother and the rest of the family in the Netherlands.

By the way you have constructed your post anyone reading it will see with clarity that you had a great love and respect for your Mother, it is also clear that it came from her affection and pride in you.
It is also clear that you are devastated by her passing, it is carrying with it much pain for you and I offer my deepest sympathy to you, and to the family.

That you have posted here of your loss says to me that this place too has a part in your life that is important to you so I say to you your work and contribution stands on its own feet for all to see. I share your grief and hope that like your mother you soon find peace of spirit as I am sure that this Lady would have passed over knowing she had a good life and a Loving Son.
As we can we will walk with you....

Very sorry to hear about the loss of your mother. Losing my mother in April, I understand intimately how you may feel. Lean on your family and friends for support. This makes a big difference. You will carry on traditions and values she taught you, and with your memories and others of her, Mother will live forever.

God bless her and love and protect her. Bless you and your family. Till we all meet again one glorious day.

As you have so generously shared your time and professional expertise with us, I also appreciate your trust in sharing this time of pain. So much of what we experience on the internet is impersonal and devoid of human feelings. This forum has not only provided a safe place in which to exchange information, it has also provided a friendly place in which to know something of each other's sense of humor, philosophy, interests, family members, travels, joyous occasions, and yes, a sharing of sadness and loss.

@pharmacist, I hope that your fond memories carry you quickly through this time of grief and sadness!

My condolences to you and your family @pharmacist.

My thoughts are with you at this difficult time. I wish you the best and hope that long term the happy memories of her have a more profound effect than any grieving you are obviously in at this moment in time.

I too having experienced the loss of a loved one know how difficult this time is. May the fond memories of her live on in your heart forever.

My condolences, @pharmacist.

I lost close family members also recently, and it learned me to enjoy every day of life.
You already know that trivial activities, as fixing printers and helping others to do so - much appreciated - , can give a lot of satisfaction.

Maybe it can help to distract your mind in these difficult times.
