Maybe a bit of DIY would be called for, anyway a little thicker is no harm..
I have tried cleaning print heads for the Canon printer generations represented by i-965, iP4000, iP5200 and ip3600 or the cartridge generations BCI-3e/6. PGI-5/CLI-8 and PGI-x20/CLI-x21. I have only noticed two different grommet types. I don't know when Canon changed the grommet design.Thanks Peter I did not know if they used a different grommet for the short cartridges.
Why try and make one when the thrift stores are full of used Canon printers.
