Oh and aside from my fried brain, I did place a new order for more cli-8 resetters today and we will be getting them in with the usb drive. They should be right about the same price as the battery operated ones we have now which we sell for $16.25 on Ebay and will sell to members for $15 with first class shipping to anywhere in the usa or $17.75 with a 6 foot usb cord.

I am glad you are happy, Ron. We have been using one with batteries for nearly 5 years now, so we know they are very reliable. Also it turns out that our wholesaler was wrong about the usb driven ones, he does not have one for the cli-8, so the ones we get back in will still be battery driven.

Take care and let's keep this planet as green as we can, it is such a beautiful world we have! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

@oroblec
Hi, our empty refillables are great. We use them on our ip4300. I only purchase brand new ink cartridges, never the remanufactured or rebuilt kind. All the cartridges used in Canon printers, and as far as I know in every printer, are made in China. So we are not talking an inferior product in aftermarket, but a product that is being produced in the same factory, to the same standard as Canon cartridges. All our products come from iso certified factories. I honestly cannot see a difference between these carts and the canon aside from the fact that are easier to refill, and are available with auto reset chips to make life even easier. So if you are asking are they reliable, we say yes and so do our customers. We rarely get a complaint about these carts. If we do, I work with the folks to find out if it is the way they are filling or if the cart has a defect. We have had one or two with defects in the last five years. So it can happen but is very rare.

If you prefer to refill the Canon original cartridges, which some of our customers do, it is not difficult. You just peel back the top front of the label and you will see a dimple where Canon originally filled the cartridge. Remove the little inset plug, can be done with my fingernails but you might use a quilting pin to poke a hole in it and then pull it out. Once out, you need to seal the ink flow hole at the bottom, we sell trays for this but they may have to be retrofit to the 226/225 carts. It's easy with a penknife to do. Then fill the cartridge and plug the fill hole. Most of our customers use silicon to plug it because it peels back off easily for refill.

Let me know if that has been helpful.

Best to you and everyone here, Happy Thanksgiving!

@oroblec, we have the cli-226 carts in stock with auto reset chips on board. these are the Asian chips, so they do not work exactly like the Canon chips or the RKS chips. They work as a set, which means when you take one out to refill it, this will reset all the chips on all the carts at the same time. They will also reset if the printer is turned off and on again. So if you are a person who turns off your printer, then these are not a real good choice for you. We leave our printers on standby all the time so it is fine for us. We also pay attention to ink levels when we go to refill one empty cartridge so we are aware how full the others are.
You can also get a set of these empty refillables without the chips and then add the canon chips onto them. and just use a resetter, if you prefer. so you have choices.
I did not completely understand your note, did you want me to pull a set of these for you? Did you want a set with or without the ARCs. You can go to our website and read all about them. I will also figure some kind of discount for you since you are here on the forum. With the ARCs we sell them for $49.91, so we can offer them here for $45 with first class shipping in the USA. Or if you prefer them without the chips, we sell them for $28.50 and we can offer them to members here for $24 including first class mail in the USA.
Right now we do not have any Canon Cli-226/pgi-225, OEM virgin cartridges in stock, we are currently waiting for our wholesaler to get them back in stock.
Let me know if you need a set or if there is anything else we can help you with.
Best always, Michele
