I bought a Printer Potty for my 1430, it's my fourth. It's a quality product and my previous three printers use them with great success. The tough part for me was removing the 1430's shell and this time I took the lazy way out and asked my local tech person to install the Printer Potty. However the ink flow this time showed the waste ink as being rather irregular.

I'm using Paul Roark's inkset, with five of the 1430's using various dilutions of black carbon ink, and the sixth position is a blue toner to help reduce the warmth of the carbon.

Here's what the waste ink flow looks like - My other Printer Potty setups show a mostly solid flow of ink. Do I have a problem with this particular setup?

I would make a hole in the lid to improve flow, so the air can escape in order the ink can flow much easily into the waste ink tank.

Thanks pharmacist, but there's already a hole in the lid.

Best Regard,

Paul
