Oh and I use a Canon Pixma ix 6550. I just printed onto a bog standard bit of cotton I had lying around for the dachsies - and onto thickish silk for the pandas and ducklingsHello everyone, thank you for your lovely comments. So yes, I've been printing directly onto fabric - I know there are different techniques you can use, like ironing the fabric onto freezer paper - but I definitely got the best results by using the mountspray technique - by placing the fabric onto card it was supported easily into the printer. I print using a 'photo paper' setting, and upping the contrast a bit, and dulling the brightness to compensate for the white fabric.
