The only problem you’ll have buying this printer from the States is your own HM Customs.

They will screw the life out of you with duty and VAT charges which will be calculated
on the total purchase price plus the Courier charges at their maximum rates,
so expect to pay at least another 50% more.

I would suggest you try the UK for the printer first on EBay then Park Cameras or Jessop’s,
here is a few listing.

If you buy from the States then please keep you safety helmet on till you get the printer home..

The power supply or AC adapter accepts both 115V 60Hz and 230V 50 Hz so you will only have to replace the AC cord to use the printer in Europe. The CLI-42 cartridges seem not to be regionalized, so the cartridges and the resetter should give no problems either. Thanks PeterBj for the information . I assume you would not get a guarantee if problems arose? It is a question I suppose of how the cheapest UK supplier relevant to the USA price and risks in transport.

The Hat I did not realise this amount would be added. I think I misunderstood statement all taxes on shipment included (or similar words) because there are so many on the E-bay UK site I assumed that Brits would be buying them, and by now migrated onto this forum for help.

There's a supplier in the UK that I'm checking out and will update if they turn out to be kosher, but price is almost too good at first blush.
