A Xerox of an original is still a copy with imperfections.
You are comparing your OEM Epson ink to an aftermarket ink. That's all. It is not a comparison to OEM Canon.
Before accepting that Mikling's ink is as you say, I would want proof.
Maybe someone can provide you with an OEM Canon gamut on that paper. This would be best.
