Doesn't the Pro-100 have an extra two grey inks? Makes for significantly better B&W prints.

For me this was the clincher. So much easier to produce good B&W.

Can be done on the 9000, but a real hassle.

OK, all, you've answered my question! Even with overkill!

WHOA, NELLIE BELL! (If you are old enough and from the USA, you'll recognize that from an old TV show.) I just went to the Canon website to check 9000 vs. 10 printing speeds, and the 9000 is no longer up there as a current model. It was only three days ago!

Hey, I am old enough to remember the TV show "The man from Laramie".

Now we have our own man from Laramie on the forum - although he calls himself TURBGUY

Guess that's what cowboys do when they retire.

Every time see his posts the the damn signature tune from the TV show goes through my head.

I think "Whoa, Nellie Bell" was from Roy Rodgers..

Wasn't Nellie Bell the name of his sidekick's (Pat Brady's) JEEP??

I just remembered, I watched some of that movie only a couple of months ago. A story line that wouldn't make it to Youtube today. Illogical, why would an outpost like Laramie, WY be sending goods by wagon train to what is obviously by people and terrain, southern New Mexico?
