I wonder why the TS5020 is so inexpensive. I actually picked up two to add to my reserve. Why? 270/271 and the availability of ARCs and rear feed.
I have not tested them but hope they are not lemons.

Do realize they do NOT HAVE USER REPLACEABLE printheads. Hence lower cost. This is the reason. I found out afterwards when I did open it up but did not fire it up.

Are they coding the print heads to the printer ? They looked to be removable atleast in the case of the ts5050

The Epson Eco Tank printers are excellent as they are designed specifically for refilling. Only difference is you do not replace the ink cartridge....just add ink to the printer when required. The ink comes in bottles epson 664. Usually works out less expensive than inkjet cartridges.
