I have an Epson Ecotank L3060.Sometimes when I print a photo on my usual plain paper using settings "Plain Paper" and high quality setting, it sometimes prints some red tones more like brown. If I print the same photo using the same settings("plain paper" and high quality setting) on a photo paper, it prints red color as it should be, totaly red.
I experimented with "Adobe Rgb", "Epson Vivid" and "PhotoEnhance" settings, all of them did some effect on the print, "Adobe Rgb" was the closest to red (though still looked some brown like, with some photos) but skin tones were the worst compared to "Epson Vivid" and "PhotoEnhance" settings.
Are all inkjet plain papers same?If I use another brand of inkjet plain paper may it print a better red than my current inkjet plain paper?Yes,I should use a photo paper for photo printing and more accurate colors but I still wonder if there is a difference between plain inkjet papers.
