Hi everyone:
My cousin works in healthcare. She's not allowed to use any type of scanner that goes
to her computer due to healthcare regulations.
Her old film-based Sharp is dying and not worth fixing. Now, my cousin needs something
laser-based that uses plain paper. She needs something really reliable. Reliability
is key.
I remember many years ago, HP and some other companies (Lexmark?) had some
very reliable laser-based fax machines.
She doesn't need any fancy features, except whatever is the current-ish
speed standard for maybe the last 10 years or so. Double-sided faxing would be nice to have. Business grade, at minimum, is a must, unless the machine is extremely well-built/reliable for a consumer-level device.
We've had 4 Canon printers/copiers in my own family, so I do tend to like those.
Thanks for any advice.
