I have a Canon pixma ip600d (windows xp) and It has been printing strange lately.
I called Canon customer support...of course they told me they couldn't help me fully because I was using HP paper instead of canon paper. Even though I stated this is a new problem and I've always used HP photopaper.
The problem occurs when I go to print anything on high quality or when i switch the paper from plain paper to photo paper.
Printing Standard quality (default) on plain paper (default) works fine all colors perfect.
In the page setup in any program when I switch the paper type to photo paper (any variety) or High quality print instead of standard my magenta gets overpowering..all photos turn pink...it is especially noticeable in the blacks.
It does this when i just change the print quality......and when i just change the paper type....it also does this when i change both to do a top quality photo print.
Any suggestions?
I've reinstalled the drivers...and ran all the printer maintenance tasks.
