Printhead Cleaner solution

What do you use to clean the printhead?

My experience is with Canon printers. Initially warm water may do the trick. If it doesn't, I've usually been successful with the original windex (window cleaner). It is the one with ammonia and it is not the no-drip or other forms of windex.
