how do you guys get that info?
From service mode, EEPROM info print.

Different Canon printer models have different ways of entering service mode and either push button codes or a special software service tool is used to perform service mode operations.

Service mode + trial and error = a risky combination, so I suggest to start a new thread in the Canon Inkjet Printer forum and ask how to perform service mode operations on your printer model, before using service mode.

I have BJC-2100, with color and BW printheads ready to fill with ink. The printer reconditioned by me and not used.
Do you know the age of this printer and how many pages it has printed?

This printer model is interesting, as it can be considered an early all-in-one. A scanner head to be installed in the print head carriage was an optional extra. Do you also have the scanner head, type number IS-22?

Here is a (very) simplified service manual. Note the complicated procedure to enter service mode.

I wouldn't dare using that procedure. It is very different from procedures for newer printers. The service manual for BJC2100 is dated March 22 year 2000.

Till now I think you have the oldest still functional Canon printer.

My oldest Canon printer is a still functional Smartbase MPC190, a big A4/Letter all-in-one that looks very similar to the HP PSC750. The service manual for the MPC190 is dated December 2002. It doesn't look like EEPROM print out is possible.

@PeterBJ Have you tried just to hold down the Resume button for a couple of seconds or pressing the same button for up to four times to see what response you get..
