I went to Helgoland a few weeks ago, a small island in the North Sea, not much more than a big piece of
sandstone rock with thousands of sea birds and lots of history. England took it over in a battle from the Danish crown about 200 years ago to use that place as a smuggling base to bypass Napoleon's blockade , and a little museum there keeps some memorabilia from those days - although not exactly this box, the German Emperor bought that island 1890, and it developed into a tourist place since then - still duty free.......

And now I leave it up to you to flood this thread with your POW's......

It is said the spelling is due to differences in language. Maybe the Scotsman who wrote it down the first time was running out of ink and left the "e" off to economize.

I don't think that's what @The Hat 's "Please excuse @stratman from this request.." meant.

PS - "utterly milking" was a play on the cow theme of your image. (Utterly = sounds like udderly = cow udders and milking = it's a milk cow." Time to moo-ve on and not make hay over it.

In the global scheme of things, whoever submits images to POW is good (except for dog poop, which The Hat liked for some reason, and elbows, which Nifty has an aversion to). And, we want a happy Sumi. You do not want to get on Sumi's list!
