Not to be left out of this thread are the flat-fish - Sole, flounder, halibut, sand dabs, etc, - who haven't made the full turn to upside down and, instead, adapt very early in their lives to living sideways. They go so far as to have one side (which becomes the top) a different color and texture, and the eye that would have ended up on the bottom migrates to the top in an odd asymmetrical alignment. Another of nature's oddities. Also delicious!The shrimps called prawns are downside up fish...
