A very, very helpful tip, which I could have used on several occasions in the past.

What I did instead was to measure the printed object and then restart the print with a new Gcode file with that exact measurement below the build plate and then glue the two parts together when finished printing..

If like me this usually happens when you have been away from the print for several hours and the bed has cooled, but even then the print may still be stuck on the bed and it can be saved, most times not !

I love Stephan's videos!

I watched that one a couple years ago and used the technique a time or two.

... but mostly I don't print very large stuff, so if I have a fail, I just usually start over.
