Well Gail let me be the first to welcome you to the site.

I am sure that shortly several of our in-house experts (Of which I am not one) will give to excellent advice on how to resolve your problem.

In the meantime try going to the Epson site and downloading the latest drivers and software for this printer. Sometimes the CD files are older versions and out of date by the time the printer is distributed and sold.

I am also guessing they will suggest you try your initial setup using USB to eliminate the network as a possible point of failure. Don`t try that yet - Just a guess on my part, and I am frequently wrong.

@Roy Sletcher, you are right on about the USB, to get any printer working on Wi-Fi, it is imperative to connect to the printer first by USB and once the computer can see the printer then add the Wi-Fi connection later..

I'm installing by using a CD and there's no option to connect using a USB cable, I have watched the videos from Epson on connecting and there is a option to temporarily use the cable but not on my CD, this video is from 2013... I'm at an end of what to do. I have contacted Epson via email and they just keep telling me to watch the video.
