Let me update you on some fade testing, the EV6 ink vs. the Fujifilm DL ink shows that the
EV6 ink fades significantly within 16 days whereas the DL ink patches don't show any significant
changes, I'm finishing the EV6 test with this result.
When comparing the EV6 ink with the genuine L300 Epson inks, the L300 inks perform better than the EV6 ink after 16 days, whether this difference is good enough for a buying decision it's up to you.
The comparison of the DL ink against a Chinese D3000 ink shows an interesting effect,
CMY don't show any significant change after 14 days , the D3000 black starts turning into a dark blueish gray which I see here the first time, all other black inks of other inksets tested earlier turned into brown, dark brown to light brown after a shorter or longer time, these CMY inks so far perform better than most other inks tested , with the black turning into this blueish gray. Whether this performance can be a buying decision vs. the DL inks - pricewise - is your decision. I'll let these inks run longer in this test.
