My MAXIFY 5350 is on refill ink

Well I read all about that exotic filament and I reckon @The Hat has missed a trick...

Is there a possibilty that this could be a MK 6 raw source

There’re won’t be a Mark Vl, because the Mark V is going nowhere..
Try Google:- where are the five Lamps.. And you’ll get your answer…
I can give you the answer but I’d probably be banned if I did.. But I will if you want, I’m game..

This is good to hear that these new MegaTank inks can be used to refill the Maxify series.

My aging Epson Artisan 730 AIO is about to be thrown out the window as I'm sick of the Yellow ink giving me starvation issues no matter what I do.

I've had other issues too so its just about time to replace it as the wife doesn't need these headaches when printing stuff for the kids schoolwork at home.

Most likely going with the MB2120 although I'm concerned about how slow it will print compared to the Artisan 730 we're used to, but if it just works then the trade-off is worth it.

Probably will also get the small PC Refill Kit too until its obvious that these GI inks are good to go.

We don't know yet if the inks will work.

I would refill the OEM carts (SETUP's can be filled to XL volume) instead of using refillables.
Less problems with leaking and cross-contamination.

Now I don’t want anyone to faint, but I’ve pulled the plug and bought a set of Canon inks for the first time in my life..Canon 56 ink bottles..

When they arrive, I make a start at emptying all the OEM carts and then refill each one in turn, I’m going to install a set of compatible carts in the print head till I can complete the refilling job.

I’ll have the power off so the carriage won’t move till I reinstall the carts with the new OEM inks, this was brought about by the compatible HP inks I was using, I was having to do several head cleans just to get a good quality print.. A lot of time wasting..

P.S. I bought them from Canon.Eu with free shipping..

Does anybody here use "refillables v2" (those with that simple diaphragm) with success?
I unfortunately threw away my OG setup cartridges year and a half ago, thinking that I would need to buy the XL ones. Well. And now I only have compatible cartridges. They have some sort of "bag" inside but it's nothing compared to the original and I think that if using compatibles, the refillable v2 would be better option. I'm also thinking about CISS (were looking through forum and found a guy who used CISS on Maxify to print appx 65k pages with no issues), I know that CISS is generally discouraged but yknow. If somebody has personal experience with CISS on Maxify, experience would be welcome. Planning to use Inktec ink

The Ciss works fine, but you'll be forever adjusting and fixing it, because every time you use the printer you’ll notice something is not quite right, in a nut shell you should only use OEM carts and you’ll never have any issues, you can fill with whatever ink you want and disable the ink monitoring, but not all inks are suitable..

A Ciss is reality over kill on the Maxify..

If, by any mischance, you have now minor problems in one or more colors in the nozzle checks of your Maxify, it will be interesting to see if the use of OEM ink will fix the issues, after a while.

I taught that too, but mine had been bad for so long that only a new head with solve the problem, and I’m not about to do that because it doesn’t seem to show up on anything I print in high quality, it does in normal quality..

It does show up in the nozzle check..
