MP280 service mode problem

Hello all, i have a canon MP280 that will not go into service mode. I hold down the stop/reset button them power button, after releasing the stop reset button an then pressing it again 6 time the orange light just stay lit an it not in service mode. Any idea on how i can fix this problem ?

Hello!
On a mp250 you have to start with the printer turned off and follow these steps:
- press and hold the stop button
- press and hold the power button
- release the stop button and press it twice
- release the power button

Can you try this and come back with the results?

Have to press stop reset 6 time to get the MP280 into service mode.. 2 times dont work for MP280.. only orange light stay lit an no service mode..

May be there is a problem in eeprom.
May be the machine protecting itself

Changing the "press stop/reset button 6 times" to "press the stop/reset button 5 times" might be the key to success. See this, first post: http://www.fixyourownprinter.com/forums/printer/73870

But:
I dont ask how to enter the service mode of canon mx360, mg3150.
When entering the service mode of mx 360, something wrong was happened.
when ı use the same method to enter the service mode .orange blink continuously stay and on of button unresponsive .To turn off it, I have to pull electrical cord off

You could try a Google search using terms "canon mx360 service mode" and "canon mx360 service manual".
