Hi @rodbam, it’s very annoying when the head goes west in an instant, but like you, none of my efforts were successful at bring it back to life, (Pissing up a rope), it’s not caused by an ink clog but more like an over heating issue that does the damage, or a deliberate time out.
When you get missing colour blocks in your nozzle check, there’s always a chance of getting them back, but if you get some half blocks of colour as seen in this Pic, then it’s mostly always fatal.
Good luck in your quest for a new Pro 10 and redsetter, and when you have forked out all that cash, you’ll find the new printer won’t produce Photos any better than your trusty old 9500 did..
