Hello, I'm trying to create a photobooth type of thing.
I originally tired to do wifi from camera to printer but had trouble (if anyone had any advise on that, that be awesome). I gave up and decided to just tether the camera to my macbook then immediately from lightroom 4 print the photo.
I'm using Moab paper -Lasal photo luster 270 and 300 gsm.

On all the photos it was printing out super dark and heavily magenta. To avoid taking time to edit (which is the whole point) I had to blow out some of the photos so it would print out better.
I looked on moab's website and they dont have any ICC profiles for the MG5420. Should I just take a profile for one of the the other canon printers they have listed??

Thanks for any help. Really trying to get this to work right.
:)

I never taught Id hear myself say this, but I have to agree with the experts
because they do know what therere talking about.

If youre into photography and dont have a properly calibrated screen then everything else you do
is just a waste of your time, ICC profiles wont make a difference.

This is not criticism but just some helpful advice.. :)

All of them! LOL
THe standard for the Photo Booth, instant print after chossing which one, is using a camera tethered to a computer through software named Darkroom: http://www.darkroomsoftware.com
I personally know a couple of photographers that do the Christmas, Easter Bunny type photos at local malls and that is the set up they use. Works well for instant printing on the spot or creating and saving Phota Package orders. It does it all.

Of course you can use other alternatives as the OP mentioned but they are somewhat more awkward though not impossible.
