It looks like my Epson Artisan 810 has finally tossed its cookies. It is printing out a bunch of gobbledygook numbers and codes.

So, I need to buy a new all in one that really makes great photo prints. Problem is, after I read reviews on different brands / models, I end up more confused than when I started. Almost all of them seem to have horrendous problems.

I'd like an all-in-one that prints something larger than standard letter size photos. I'm a hobby photographer and enjoy printing high guality photos. I don't have the room nor budget for a dedicated photo printer.

Would love your feedback on the brands/ models you like and rate excellent. I live in the US. Thanks in advance!

I have seen this behaviour with a laser printer. The problem was a computer/driver problem, so it might be a good idea to try removing the printer from your system and reinstalling it before giving up on it. The laser printer would print one line of random characters then eject the paper and start over doing the same with a new sheet of paper until it was turned off.

Thanks! That is exactly what my printer is doing.
