Hp 940

Does anyone know if you can put the HP 10 & 11 inks onto an HP 940xl base for use in a HP Pro 8500. Has anyone tried this?

I see that the 10 black is pigmented and the color 11s are dyes. The 940 cartridges look to all to be pigment..

I have heard (unverified) reports that putting 88/11/10 inks in a 940 will clog the printheads in that machine. OCP doesn't have a formula for it yet and static control doesn't have chips for it yet either. I would be very interested to hear your results if you do choose to refill these.

I'm not particularly worried about the chips, more so the ink type.
