Like the others, I'm curious regarding this...nche11 said:I have used image specialists ink before using Hobbicolors. I stayed away from image specialists ink since I switched over. Watch for clogging if you use image specialists ink if you need to print continuously large photos in particular. You will need to run a lot of cleaning cycles to keep the print head from clogging.
I've certainly had some issues with inks (including Image Specialists) where something akin to clogging has occurred but the problems usually revolved around things like:
- Ink age
- Storage conditions (ie: too hot/cold creating algae, etc...)
- Lack of flushing
- Ink foaming (particularly in Epson CIS carts, etc..)
- Use in a Canon CIS (poor pressure balance, etc...)
... and more besides...
All of those are things that can happen with any ink..
I'd certainly agree with that...Whatever you choose to buy just don't fall to the attractions from cheap junk.
More info on the IS inks would be appreciated though...
