@The Hat - mIght be worth trying PETG as it is a bit tougher than PLA and though not so tough as ABS it's supposedly easier to print with.
@Redbrickman, that’s my next port of call, you must have read my mind, but the supplier is currently out of stock of most colours, and I’ve heard it’s not very suitable to mix with PLA...
I am still waiting to get the red colour to make my No Dog S**t sign...

“If it Ain’t broke”, why brake it by introducing ABS.
Better heat resistance?

I soldered the connections to my heat bed when the connector broke. I then printed a PLA strain relief part so the heat bed cable doesn't pull on the solder connections. But I'm a bit concerned the PLA is very close to the heat bed. So I'm tempted to reprint in ABS to be sure... But if I do that the heat bed will be a lot hotter while I'm printing, and then maybe the PLA strain relief won't last during the ABS print:idunno

I thought Irish dogs would pay more attention to a green sign:D

Mine will be 3 colours, similar to this, but better in full English "No Dog S**t"

If I get it to print successfully I post a photo here, Edited !

Maybe I'm being a bit stupid, but how will you be printing this? In three layers white, then black, then red? Or is it just a 2d sign:idunno

Got it in one, give the man a cigar... :D
The Sign starts off as white, then I switch to black for the dog and text, and finally to red for the circle and strike through, that’s the theory anyway...:hu
Don't forget the "No Bulls**t" sign for the pub!
There is so much Balderdash in the pub, no one with take the Sign seriously... ;)

I’m not that worried about 3D printer Emissions since I moved it from my printer den to the shed, its a big old drafty shed and I can smell an odour when entering it, but not while I’m standing over beside the printer.

As I’m not in the shed all the time, (but I have visiting rights) I reckon the risks are within my acceptable tolerance, besides something has kill me one day, so why not something I love doing, instead of a Friggin number 10 Bus...
If it starts to do me in, I’ll be the first to let you all know... OK... :old
