@paulcroft, Now that you have moved on to the Pro-100, lets hope it doesn’t suffer the same magenta failures as before, just make sure when you refill that you keep everything as clean as possible and don’t be tempted to put ink from the syringe back into the ink bottle.
Whatever the problem is with the magenta inks it needs more care than any of the other colours so as not to introduce any contaminates or bacteria from any source, so clean and disinfect your syringes after every single use.

P.S. A head alinement would go a miss every 3 months or so, just to keep the nozzles firing sharp and true for perfect results every time..
