i have epson d700, almost every morning i found my printer is clogged. Mostly the black ink. Some times i just prints few pictures and it was gone, back to normal. But sometimes i had to do power clean. it's frustating me because it waste a lot of inks.
i turn on my printer at 08.00 am and turn it off at 21.00 everyday but sunday, i've read some articles that it's better to leave the printer always on, is it true ?

thank you for your advice, sorry for my bad english

do you have that problem only recently or since the beginning when you installed the printer ? Can you just try and keep the unit on power for some days and test it whether it makes a difference ? That power on advice typically goes for consumer printers to eliminate the cleaning cycle at power on to save ink.

It happened about 6 months after the unit was installed ( august 2015), the weird thing is, when i did power clean because of this clog, for next 7-14 days after the power clean, this clogging is dissapers for sometimes before it back again. So i had to power clean every 2 weeks. i prints arround 100 prints in average everyday

I don't hink there is anything more than the cleaning cycles a user can do with this unit. I assume you are running a business with it, you should check with Epson and/or your dealer whether there is any warranty left on this unit, or you may have a service package for it - or whatever, there may be some regular maintenance necessary on this unit I don't know.

either the cleaning / capping station has to be troughoutly cleaned and freed of any dried ink residue that is causing the rubber seal not to seal it properly, i have seen also damaged cleaning assemblies

OR

you have somehow a microfracuture within the ink line black or a cartridge seal problem that is causing a pressure drop
