This is my prints i think the color litle bit saturated tell me you what do u think or pete that knows this image well.
did you get your.tiff file problems sorted out ? Could it be that you got into a problem because the image is in 16bit colors with the ProPhoto color space assigned ? You may convert the image with a colorspace aware program down to 8bit/sRGB to make it more universal for some software.

I think that's just impossible but even so let me comment on the above photo of your printout -
I don't know anything about photo editors, their color space awareness etc on a Mac, and I don't know the driver settings and the paper used for that printout, and you show a photo of that printout with a particular white balance of the camera etc. There are far too many variables influencing the color presentation. When I look to the strawberries - their red is not as saturated and bright as I would get it on a printout on glossy paper - and this can be anything - a missing or wrong color profile, a question about the correct handling of the ProPhoto color space of the image, camera/color saturation settings and more. So both would be necessary - getting such variables out of the way or getting them under control via color mgmt.

The print in post #21 has passed through several links before I see it. First it is photographed, how does the camera change the image? Then it is uploaded to the printerknowledge server to be displayed on the forum. Does the server compress it to save memory? It is then opened in Firefox on my Win 8.1 computer. Does my hard- and software change it? It is then displayed on my HP monitor that is a good monitor for home use, but is uncalibrated and not professional grade. My ambient lighting and colour of the wallpaper also plays a role. Finally my personal preferences also plays a role in what I think about the quality of a print.

Here is a crop of your uploaded picture. The test image should have an unprinted frame that should be paper white. The frame appears yellowish grey in your uploaded picture. I don't know how to remove this yellowish grey, but if I compare it to a layer of varnish and imagine it removed, I think the colours will be more clear and the print a good quality. Here is the instruction for how to judge the test print. And as a traditional link here, in case your browser doesn't like a word-link: https://web.archive.org/web/2015031...ckphoto.com/printinginsights/pi049/essay.html

I taught the print looked a little bit flat and yellowish, I reckon that’s down to the paper and or your picture taking.;)

@oroblec, don’t be in a hurry to use up all your OEM inks, now you’ve got new ink supplies, you may want to keep them for later to check how good the PC inks are, just remove the carts and put the orange clip back on them, these OEM carts are really great for storage.

Happy Printing...

Some cameras have a white balance setting in which you can point the camera to a white area and define that as white. Could you calibrate the camera by using an unprinted sheet of paper?

I think some photo editing program s might have the same capability. You can click a point in the image and define that as white. IIRC even some free-ware programs can do this.

I will take a better picture, after work end.
