Yes, black levels on cast coated and RC papers are rather different with the same ink

Figure out why XP-240 driver Dmax so low on T664 dye inks, the matte paper media on the driver only print black by CMY channel like glossy paper. Also explained why the chromaticity is not like the XP-2101, since it's the same as glossy media.

Maybe this issue? or symptom fix since XP-2100 driver.
Sure,Hi Clarence,
I was wondering how you extracted the above data from the Epson drivers? Is your Python script available for download? I would be interested in checking my R3000 as well
Seem like EPSON changing the T502/T03Y box logo to Claria ET since 2021.You have quite a lot of different inks available, I would list the T502 under dye inks - CMY with K pigment black. I assume that the GI-73/53 is the Canon ink of the G650/620 Megatank printer; it's petty much complicating such listings when Canon and Epson use different numbers in different business regions. Epson PB is photo black, BK is matte black.
Based on my test this year and earlier I have some assumptions about the outcome already - the ranking of these inks, but there may be some surprises, and I'm ready for them. I overall tested less pigment inks overall, I was expecting a better outcome anyway (which may have been wrong) and I barely ever got complete inksets together, I got C and M from one user - brand A and light gray and black brand B from somebody else, I ordered C and black as Canon inks etc and mixed them all together (by color) at the end, my Pro7600 takes it all.
I'm going to order pretty soon the Epson 502 and 522 from the U.S. - I hope to get them in 4 - 6 weeks. The 502 is classified as a Claria ink by Epson and it'll be interesting how it performs against the Hongsam HLF inks.
It's rainy here, but still read the chart records since I am putting the Hongsam EverNew, Claria Photo & T502 ink into the test.I am going to start a INK fade test on below table.

Since only PB pigment ink could works on the 180gsm Glossy paper well.
I won't check other T774, T502 AND T542 pigment black on Glossy paper.
But we still have full compare on EPSON OEM Photo Quality Inkjet paper 102gsm,
I think it's the same as "Epson Presentation Paper Matte".

It might take a month for the test.
I also ordered the Hongsam Evernew 6 colors ink in 100ml each.
Once they arrived, would start another test compare between T673, 82N (Claria Photo) on the same paper types.
